SGA is baaaack!

Hurrah!

What a fabulous episode! There were so many great parts.

Yay, Keller is a regular now! It seems that a lot of people don't like her, but I love her! And it was nice to see Lorne making an appearance. We need more Lorne!

All the bits with Ronon and Sheppard in the rubble were great...."it's been a pleasure" etc. They have such an awesome, manly relationship. :)

I adored all the Sheppard and Teyla stuff. It just shows how much they mean to each other - the fact that John mounted a rescue op when he was pretty much half dead, that Teyla named her little boy after him...the ending bit in the infirmary was especially moving, the absolute faith Teyla has that John will find her no matter what. :) *happy sigh* My favorite part was Sheppard + baby, as was the case for a lot of people, I suppose. When he was cuddling the baby in the dart that was just about the cutest thing ever.

There were a few things I wasn't so fussy about. Firstly, that had better not be all the closure Sam gets. I wasn't as big of a fan of Sam in Atlantis as I was of Elizabeth, but I thought she deserved a better ending than a simple, oh, you're being replaced. Also, the bit with Michael's magic wraith tablet seemed a bit unrealistic. I don't think he'd be leaving stuff like that lying around or not have some sort of security measures.

As per usual, I was caught in my love/hate relationship with McKay. Sometimes he is awesome, and sometimes I just want to scream at him to shut up. Is it just me, or has his neurotic behavior increased as the series has progressed? Sometimes I think they need to tone him down a little bit. :)

All in all, though, this was a fantastic start to the season!

Also, I started watching Firefly. I have this thing where I'll see an actor I love in something and immediately hunt down all their other stuff. It was like that with Richard Armitage - when I saw him in North and South I immediately got into Robin Hood because he was in it, and then fell in love with the series as a whole. I decided to check out Firefly because I love Jewel Staite, and Firefly is simply incredible. I've seen seven episodes so far, and they were all fantastic - no weak ones in the lot. The characters, the plot, the music, everything is amazing. I'm going to completely devour the rest, I can tell!

SGA returns!

I'm really pumped for the return of SGA!! I had completely forgotton it was coming back in July - time flies! I was over on TV Squad and came across this mildly spoilery article that announced the premiere as July 11th. Sweet!!

I had an excellent Canada Day. The beer was plentiful and the fireworks were pretty, though I have yet to see anything that compares with the show at the Butchart Gardens out West. It will ruin your appreciation for fireworks forever, because everything else pales in comparison!

101 things that most define Canada....

In honor of Canada Day (I guess), they've created a list based off a survey done by CIC indicating the "101 things that most define Canada." Number one on the list was the maple leaf, which I guess I'm fine with - it's on our flag, it's neutral, it's not going to offend anyone by being ranked first. Rounding out the top 5 are Vimy Ridge, which is perceived in popular history as being one of our defining moments as a nation, hockey, which I can understand even if I'm not really a fan, Queen Elizabeth, which was kind of surprising given the amount of anti-monarchy sentiment floating around, and the Canadian flag, which is kind of a given. The usual suspects like multiculturalism and bilingualism were also featured.

I don't know what I would pick as our top defining things. Pinpointing our national identity is hard enough, and then there's what we perceive ourselves to be versus the perceptions of the rest of the world.

Anyway, tomorrow's the big day...I hope it doesn't rain. We want our fireworks!

Alas, we have been defeated...

Urgh...the Euro final was so frustrating to watch! The number of times we gave away the ball had me tearing my hair in frustration. It just wasn't a good night for us at all. Ballack was oozing a trail of blood across the pitch, Miro got a kicked in the balls...sigh.

But overall, I'm not as upset as I was when we got knocked out of the last World Cup. We weren't robbed of victory - the Spanish really deserved to win and I'm happy for them.

I'm still going to sulk for awhile, though. :P

We're through to the final!!! YESSSSSSS! Although it was so annoying how the feed kept going on the fritz...I only got to see one of the German goals. :( And we didn't get to see all the happy hugging/piling/shirt swapping at the end. But at least there was a brief clip of the boys bouncing around and Poldi crowd surfing lol. Oh well. The important thing is that we're through.

The best thing ever - there were some German fans wearing "free Jogi" t-shirts, wigs and swat team hats. :D I'm glad he was back on the field where he belongs today.

I don't wanna follow death and all of his friends

The song they play after a goal is scored at the Euros was driving me crazy, so I trolled the web until I found it: Samba de Janeiro. I ignored the warning of its incredibly addictive nature, and it's been stuck in my head all day! It's so catchy! Ahh!

I finally bought the new Coldplay album and it is AMAZING. The style is a bit different - more mature and melodic - and I've been humming the songs all day (when Samba de Janeiro isn't on constant loop in my brain lol). It was definitely worth the wait!!! My favorite tracks are Viva la Vida, of course, Cemetaries of London, and Death and All of his Friends. This is my favorite Coldplay album so far for sure. :D

Waaah

So I started watching BBC's Robin Hood a couple of weeks ago, and I got completely addicted. Within the space of three weeks I devoured seasons one and two in their entirety, and I have to say that the season two finale absolutely WRECKED me. Never in my television viewing career have I been so devastated by a show. It seems ridiculous to become so emotionally involved in a fictional series, but I was so unbelievably upset!

The Good

- I really liked how Much got a chance to say how he felt to Robin and how they got that out in the open. Yay!
- Allan is back! While I adored his interactions with Guy, he belongs with Teh Gang.
- Carter was there! And then he died, which sucked, but at least he made an appearance.
- Robin and Marian got married! I was crying so hard when they were exchanging their vows and Marian was lying there dying...brilliant acting.

The Bad

- The Will/Djaq stuff was so cheesy I was hiding my head under my pillow. Kudos to the actors (especially Will) for delivering those vomit-inducing lines so well.
- I seriously want to know what was going on with those mercenary guys' outifts. They looked like a cross between trick-or-treaters and a Finnish death metal band...
- I was sad that we didn't get any Will and Allan interaction before they went home. Weren't they best buds before? And didn't they kind of make up at the siege of Nottingham?
- No more Will and Djaq?! They'd better find their way back to Sherwood Forest ASAP!

The WTF

- GUY KILLED MARIAN??!!!?!?!?!?! I still can't believe it. All his character development over the course of the season was all for nothing! I can't believe he killed the woman he loves. Even though he is one of the bad guys, I had hoped he was on the path to redemption. And while I know Marian's heart belongs to Robin, I like to think that she cared about Guy to a certain extent. Guy/Marian was one of my guilty pleasures and now that's gone forever...*sniff*
- THEY KILLED MARIAN?!!?!?!?! You can't have Robin Hood without Marian! But at the same time, if they bring her back as a ghost or have the whole finale as a dream then that would be really lame. And they'd better not bring in some lame new love interest for Robin, because Robin + Marian = True Love!
- King Richard was shot in the back and then was up and walking around right after...? Weird.

I wonder what season three will bring? I was kind of surprised when I heard they were making another one - the season two finale seemed pretty final to me! But I'll be tuning in for sure, because Robin Hood is awesome, even when it makes me cry.

In other news, the tournament of the underdogs continues as Spain knocked out Italy in a penalty shootout. The game was pretty boring for the most part - not a single goal. The camera kept focusing on the hotness of Luca Toni for lack of anything more interesting lol.

More Euro babble

Well, this certainly has been a crazy week for footie! I totally expected the Netherlands to wipe the floor with Russia, but it was quite the other way around! It was a pretty exciting game, even though all the goals happened right at the end. The fans were in fine form - I always wish they'd have more crowd noise on the broadcast and less annoying chit chat. It made me want to be there soooo bad. Going to the U-20 World Cup last year was one of the most exhilirating experiences of my life, and I can't wait for the day that I get to go to an actual World Cup or Euro. Being part of that crowd would be incredible.

I'm not sure when I'll get to go to a World Cup, though. The next one is in South Africa, and it doesn't seem like the safest place to be. I think it has the second highest murder rate in the world and I just may have read something about a FIFA official getting killed there? Anyway, it's not on my list of top travel spots. The one after that is allotted to South America, and so far the only country that's put in a bid is Brazil. Now that would be an incredible experience if I was actually cheering for Brazil, but having been one of the few American fans in a stadium full of Brazil supporters at the U-20s has taught me a lesson. It might be dangerous to be cheering against a couple of thousand angry Brazilians on their home turf!

Ok, seriously, this was absolutely heartbreaking. Swiss captain Frei was injured early in the first half of today's Switzerland-Czech Republic game and might be out for the rest of the tournament. The look on his face - I'm pretty sure he was crying - as he hobbled off made me want to burst into tears. :( I hope he gets better!!! The Czechs ended up winning despite many good chances for Switzerland.

I saw the first half of the Turkey-Portugal game before I went out. Ronaldo was up to his usual tricks and delivered a wicked free kick that missed going in by a hair. I was kind of indifferent as to the outcome of this game, but my Ronaldo fangirling friends were happy that Portugal won.

Germany plays tomorrow! Can't wait!

I watched a few more eps of Robin Hood, and it's really growing on me! I love how Marian kicks butt without it being overkill and how Robin is cute and bouncy. And the superficial side of me appreciates the smoking hotness that is Sir Guy...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! My shippy little heart exploded with glee at the Bill/Laura reunion at the end of the ep! Yay! And I loved the subtlety of it all compared to last week's anvil dropping. *does happy dance*

My eyes started to leak several times during Laura's dream sequences. Mary MacDonnell sure acted the hell out of all her scenes. It was cool to see Elosha back, too.

The whole Helo/8 thing was kind of creepy....if I were Helo I'd be pretty creeped out that a legion of his wife's clones can all have access to some pretty intimate memories. I wonder what happened to Boomer? I personally think she escaped, since I think her story hasn't reached its conclusion yet.

D'Anna was awesome, as usual. She totally looked and acted like she'd just woken up with a giant hangover and wasn't going to take shit from anyone. :D

The promo for next week looks intense...and then no more BSG til 2009. :(

The countdown is over!

Ahhhh! Euro 2008 starts tomorrow!!!! I'm SO excited! Tomorrow's games are the Czech Republic vs Switzerland and Portugal vs Turkey. All my friends are excited to see Ronaldo in action....he's the bait with which I lure my girlfriends into watching footie. I personally don't find him that attractive, but the girls look at him like a big dish of icecream, complete with drool and glazed over eyes. I miss Figo....sucks that he retired from international duty.

There's a cute article over at the Offside that has a list of all the national team nicknames. I've got to agree that Greece has the best one - "The Pirate Ship." Also, someone over on the German National Team comm posted a giant collection of 74 German footie songs!!! Score!

I started watching the BBC's Robin Hood series...well, I watched the first episode so far. It has potential, though I find the pace a little slow. I need something to tide me over until my other shows start up again. The first half of BSG's season will finish up soon and who know when the rest will come back. SGA is returning sometime in late summer, I think, and all the rest come back in the fall.

Countin' down to the Euros!

Things I am excited about today:

1. Euro 2008! It starts in less than a week and I am off the wall with excitement. Because, well, it's Euro 2008! And I've been suffering from serious footie withdrawal ever since the domestic leagues finished. I ordered a spiffy new Germany jersey with some of my birthday money and it came in yesterday. Even though I'm an adult I fit into the kid's sizes, which are cheaper, so I splurged and customized mine with my favorite baller Miroslav Klose's name and number. Yay!

2. The new Coldplay album comes out on the 17th, I think, and I can't wait. I LOVE Viva la Vida, and I hope the rest of the album is just as awesome.

And now some comments on this week's BSG.

Wasn't one of my favorite episodes, but it was still good. The most WTF part for me was the whole thing with Lampkin's cat - I didn't even realize that the cat had been dead all along until after I'd seen the episode. It was nice to see Lee again, though. I wonder how long he'll last as prez? Laura had better come back! Baltar too - I bet his harem is freaking out without their man.

While I love the Laura/Bill dynamic, it seemed a bit anvil-tastic with Bill's dramatic speech and actions. But I'm glad it's finally out in the open.

Poor Athena...I hope she doesn't have to stay in the brig forever. The Sharons have always been some of my favorite characters.

This episode seemed to be setting up some big stuff for next week, so I hope it pays off!

I realized I hadn't posted on Prince Caspian, which was AMAZING. But that will have to wait until later...:)

Norton Antivirus ate my computer! One little upgrade and my whole Windows was kaputt! I haven't had my computer for a week. The repair guys were able to fix it, thankfully, and install a new antivirus program called Avast, which I highly recommend. But still, you'd think that something meant to help your computer wouldn't be so prone to causing it harm!

For some reason I really want to see Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanemo Bay. I'm not usually that into stoner comedies, but just the fact that it has 'escape from Guantanemo Bay' in the title kind of makes me want to go. We'll see.

There was so much I wanted to post about but now I don't remember. Oh yeah.
All around good ep. Baltar's cult never ceases to amuse and Tory continues to be awesome. And I really liked the scene where Chief was talking about Cally. I always felt that he was settling and that he might have married her out of guilt over the beating incident, so it was nice to hear him say how he felt.

The part where Baltar was hugging Lee and Lee was all 'ew, stop soiling my clothes' was awesome. :D

The promo for next week looks...interesting. I was never a huge Leoben fan, but we'll see. And for once I find myself wanting to know what's going on with the cylons on the base ships!

ETA: I finally posted my pimp post for Swallows and Amazons over at smallfandomfest!
My boys win the German cup!

We beat Dortmund 2-1 to win the DFB-Pokal! Yeah!

Seriously - can Poldi and Schweini be any more adorable? :)

And Luca Toni, because he is teh hawtness...

Pics from Yahoo sports

In other news, summer is officially here, as my skanky neighbors have started tanning on the roof of their building wearing pretty much nothing. What a lovely view from my bedroom window. x_x I went to play some pickup football in the park, which was great, except for the park where I fell in the mud and got attacked by ants.

I really hope the snow is gone for good!

Thoughts on BSG 4x03

Alot happened in this ep!

First of all....Tory! I'm so glad she's getting a good storyline and that the actress is doing a fantastic job. She seems to be the one of the four who is embracing her cylon-ness the most, and it's deliciously creepy at times.

I never really liked Cally that much, especially after she married the Chief. Their relationship kind of squicked me out because I always felt a bit like she'd guilted him into marrying her after he attacked her. I mean, like she said, she all but proposed right after the attack happened. And I'm not sure I could really marry someone who shot the woman I'd loved - you'd think that would always hang between them.

But however much I disliked Cally, I did like the way they handled her death. And I can understand how she would think she'd been used - especially since Chief started talking about having another baby right after she found out. Maybe she thought he was using her to create an army of hybrid babies?

The scene with Adama reading to Roslin was very sweet, though the metaphors were a bit anvil-tastic. I feel like we didn't get enough Adama this episode!

I think the writers are doing a good job with Lee's storyline so far, but I hope it doesn't get boring and repetitious. Let's hope there is more Lee/Zarek interaction - I think Lee is a lot more like Zarek than he realizes! It made me cringe, though, to see the hostility between Lee and Roslin. :( I miss the good old days when they were breaking out of jail and hanging out in meat lockers. Hopefully their issues will be resolved someday.

I really want to know what's going on with Boomer. I can't help but think there must be some ulterior motive to her siding with the Cavils and krue. And ew....why was she kissing hiim?!

The Demetrius storyline isn't really inspiring me right now and I hope it gets a bit more interesting soon. Why are there so many key personnel aboard? Without Gaeta and Helo and with Tigh running around having sooper sekrit cylon meetings, who's running the ship? Dee? And what was Seelix doing there? Did she volunteer to come because Anders was there? Hmmm. But I'm not going to complain about seeing Helo and Anders lounging around all dirty and sweaty...mmmm.

Alright, I'll admit, when Jim started talking about proposing and then when he showed the camera the engagement ring my little shipper heart nearly stopped! And then again at the end when he got down on one knee (to tie his shoe). Double whammy! Very cute, though I think Jim's being a little hasty. It'll be interesting to see how Pam responds when it all goes down. Now we're all going to be waiting on the edge of our seats waiting for Jim's kick-ass proposal. <3 I'm still feeling the buzz.

I'm soooo glad Michael got rid of Jan (though I have a feeling she'll be back). Good move, buddy. Harassing your employees for hook-ups - not so much a good move. The whole coffee date with Pam's landlady was awful! Poor girl! Especially when he likened her to a friendly old lady on the bus.

The parking lot story was amusing. I love Andy! Best line - "call us when you get there so we know you're okay."

Also laughed hard at "Oscarmeyerweinerlover." :D

When Dwight and Michael went to the graveyard I seriously thought that Jan had died for a minute...but it was just the chair model girl.

The weather was sooooo beautiful today. Spring is definitely here. Today was 20 degrees and tomorrow it's going to be 22! Although knowing Canadian weather, it'll probably swing back to sub-arctic temperatures within the week...

One of my friends recently discovered she has to start a gluten-free diet and she was showing me some of the gluten-free stuff she's going to be eating. It looked (and smelled) like bird seed. And it is super expensive. I feel so bad for her! Everything seems to have gluten in it - even licorice and lollipops! I can't imagine having to deal with that. :(

Tomorrow is Friday! Hurrah! New BSG and lots of sleep is in the cards.

Tell the pilot to dive until we can club baby seals out of the window

I had waaaaaaay too much sugar today. At work we took a morning break to go to Timmy's where I indulged in the "Iced Capp Supreme", which is a mint/chocolate flavored iced cappuchino with a giant glob of whipped cream and powdered chocolate on top. Guh. And then at lunch one of my buddies got a bunch of free chocolate pecan pie from the cafe he used to work at and that was also delicious. So I was on a sugar high for a good chunk of they day, but then I crashed around 2:30 pm and was useless for the rest of the afternoon.

I wrote another section of my Swallows and Amazons fic, which I am hoping to post in the next couple of days. I'm getting to the end, slowly but surely.

There's a big to-do going on about the RCMP seizing a Dutch ship in international waters, which is kind of an act of war...oops! And there's all sorts of craziness going down at the Hill - we've got the anti-seal hunt protesters, the anti-anti-seal hunt protesters protesters, and the protesters protesting about the coast guard's involvement in the sinking of a sealing ship. And they apparently all started fighting each other. Yikes!

BSG 4x02 Six of One

That was probably one of my favorite BSG eps of all time....but for me one of the saddest, too.

I'm having a really hard time dealing with the idea of Lee leaving the fleet, that Apollo is gone forever. :( I was bawling like crazy during his goodbye scenes. I hope he works out as a politician and that he still gets his fair share of screen time!

The Bill/Laura scene was also very heartbreaking, especially when she realized her hair was starting to fall out. They know each other well enough to rip each other open, and I hope that bullet through their photo isn't symbolic of a permanent rift...I doubt it, though.

And all of Kara's scenes were gut-wrenching - actually seeing the mighty Starbuck crying and screaming. :( But now she has a ship (albeit a smelly sewage ship lol) and is off on another adventure. I didn't quite get whether Helo was going with her, but that would be cool - another road trip like the one on Caprica. I wonder who else will go - Athena maybe?

Of course the kiss was one of my favorite moments! I bet that's one of the last scenes with those two together that we're going to see in a long time. But hopefully it's awesomeness will tide us over. They love each other so much and it makes me all warm and fuzzy knowing Lee believes in her not matter what.

The scenes on the cylon base star were fascinating. Last season I'll admit that I found some of the cylon scenes a bit tedious, but this is shaping up to be pretty interesting. I especially want to know what's motivating Boomer to turn against the rest of the eights.

On a lighter note....STRIP TRIAD! YES! Lol at naked Hotdog. And Racetrack...yum. I love happy, reveling pilots! And lol at Tigh pimping out Tory. I love Tory.

Do Sam and Seelix have callsigns? I want to know!

I'll have to track down next week's promo on Youtube later.

The Office: Dinner Party

Ok...for me, that was one of those episodes like Phyllis's Wedding that was almost painful to watch. Could that dinner party have been ANY more awkward?

The Good:

* Hunter's album! I remembered from the episode where Jan gets fired and she wishes Hunter good luck with his band. And he made an album, albeir a terrible one. Go Hunter!

* Jim trying to get out and Pam making him stay!

* Dwight's "date" - at first I though it was his mom!

* I thought it was funny that Michael had told Jan he'd dated Pam. But I don't think that will end well...

The Bad:

* Pretty much the whole dinner. Everything that came out of Jan and Michael's mouths made me want to flee the scene.

* Jan's dancing...

* I could have done without the whole vasectomy fight.

But still, it's the Office, and I love it even when it makes me cry. I hope next week is in the office, cause I like those episodes better than the crazy adventures in the outside world, as amusing as those can be.

Pizza and margarita shooters

I was rewatching some episodes from Farscape season 2 and came across one of my favorite funny scenes. It's in the episode "Crackers" and John is talking to the Scorpius in his head:

Scorpius: Go on. Kill her. Then we'll have pizza and margarita shooters.
John: Nobody...has margaritas with pizza.

Just the whole image of Scorpius talking about margarita shooters had me rolling on the floor laughing. I love Farscape. :D

Scientific American has a really cool article on "The Color of Plants on Other Worlds", complete with digitally constructed images. Another interesting read was "Why does my cell phone make screechy noises when I place it near my computer?", a question I've wondered more than once. My cell also causes my TV reception to go all wonky...

The nefarious Chelsea managed to weasel their way into the Champions League semis despite having to play their third string keeper. They're like a wily insect that won't die no matter how many times you try and squash it. I don't hold much hope for Schalke to beat Barca tomorrow, but as the Proline commercials bleat, "anything can happen, anyone can win."

The Junos...meh

The Juno Awards are tonight, which are like the Grammy Awards except that they're for Canadian music. Most people don't really seem to care about them much and I must confess to being rather indifferent myself. I don't listen to a lot of Canadian artists, except for the East Coast traditional music that I grew up with, and I'm not really a fan of Celine Dion or Avril Lavigne. However, I think it's a shame that the opportunity isn't taken to recognize budding quality homegrown talent that might not be featured on an iPod commercial but has just as much talent and just needs a little push into the spotlight. The CBC has an interesting article on some of the lesser-known nominees and how they don't really stand a chance against the "commercially friendly, overexposed pop stars" that will likely take home all the prizes.

The weather was beautiful this weekend - I was outside in shorts and a t-shirt - but there were still giant piles of snow everywhere! I guess it'll take a bit longer for it to melt since we had so much this winter.

BSG 4x01 He That Believeth in Me

What a fantastic episode! I loved every minute of it.

The special effects for the battle at the beginning were very well done. And I'll confess that Anders is starting to grow on me. I was never a huge fan, but I've started to like him more. Poor Anders...when Kara said that if he were a cylon she'd shoot him...ouch!

I loved the tackiness of the Baltar shrine. And his harem of beautiful women. I'm not convinced he's done causing trouble, and it'll be interesting to see where his storyline goes next. I'm sooooooo glad he finally shaved and cut his hair, though. It was getting pretty gross!

The Starbuck/Apollo hug was very sweet and made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)

I'm a bit sad that Lee won't be going back to a pilot...I liked pilot!Lee. I hope the writers give him something cool to do this season and don't let him drift about aimlessly.

Ooh, cliffhanger. I bet Roslin will kick some ass. Or maybe Adama will come break up the fight? Roslin is sleeping in his quarters after all...;)

Can't wait for next week!

BSG!

Ahhhh I'm so excited for season 4 of BSG! I've missed it so. I hope they don't end up splitting the final season over two years or whatever is was they were thinking of doing. I don't want to wait any more!

Today my friends from work and I had this serious craving for Pizza Hut buffet, so on our lunch break we took a cab half way across downtown to get there. It was soooooo delicious. Especially the dessert pizza and the giant cinnamon bun things. Mmmm.

Here's a headline you don't see every day: "Octopuses are the kinky creatures of the sea, researchers find." Only the CBC would report on stuff like this....

And here's a spoofy Customer Satisfaction Survey for Military Aircraft. Hehe.

"bounces excitedly* BSG soon!

"United star Fletcher felled by toilet door"

I love stories like this. Apparently Man Utd player Darren Fletcher got knocked unconscious when a toilet door fell on his head. Seriously.

So all the EPL 'Big Four' got turfed out of the FA cup, most notably Chelsea by Championship bottom-feeders Barnsley. Go underdogs! Anyone who undermines the soul-sucking black hole that is Chelsea FC has my vote. The draw and game times for the semis are up - it'll be interesting to see who walks away with this one.

Champions Leage quater-final draw is the Friday, and yes, I probably will be following the live feed at work...*hangs head*

Mr. Darcy makes it all better...

Argh, I've been in bed all weekend with an awful cold and we're completely snowed in here due to a giant blizzard, so I can't go out to get more medicine. I have no idea when the roads are going to be plowed. So this afternoon I watched all six parts of the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice (the one with Colin Firth) which made me feel somewhat better. P&P is one of my all-time favorite pieces of film and makes me feel warm and fuzzy every time. I just gazed at Mr. Darcy's lovely mug until the pain went away....lol.

Not looking forward to going in to work tomorrow. Hope the plows have cleared away some of the snow by then!
